MEMPHIS, Tenn. — UPDATED: Memphis Police say three people have died, and one other remains in critical condition after an early Friday morning crash in the Grahamwood neighborhood.
The Memphis Police Department said the two-vehicle wreck happened around 5:15 a.m. on Summer at Graham. Police said a driver in a white Nissan Maxima ran a red light, hitting a blue Dodge Ram.
Police said the Ram's driver, Darrell Williams, died at the scene.
Three men in the Maxima were taken to Regional One Hospital in critical condition. The passengers, a 17-year-old and another identified as Terion Hillard, died at the hospital. The driver, who has not been identified, remains in critcal condition.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
