One person was taken to the hospital after a crash involving one vehicle took place in East Shelby County, according to the Shelby County Sheriff's Office (SCSO).
SCSO deputies said they responded toward 9 a.m. Sunday morning after a vehicle struck a tree and then a fence off South Pisgah Road near Raleigh LaGrange Road.
One person was reportedly transported by Shelby County Fire to Regional One in critical condition.
Police said that this accident is an ongoing investigation.
