Memphis Police said a pedestrian who was riding a scooter was hit by a car and was transported to Regional One in critical condition on Saturday.
Memphis Police Department (MPD) officers said they responded to the area of Third Street and Peebles Street shortly after 9 p.m.
They said they responded after hearing that a pedestrian was struck.
After finding this man, he reportedly told police that he was riding a scooter when he was struck. He then was transported to Regional One following this, according to MPD.
