MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Orange Mound Splash Pad is now open in Orange Mound Park, Councilwoman Jana Swearengen-Washington announced on a press release on Thursday.
The reopening of the Pad was in collaboration with Memphis Parks, following maintenance.
"I am delighted to see the Orange Mound Splash Pad reopen," said Swearengen-Washington. "This facility is a vital recreational resource for our community, especially during the hot summer months. I want to extend my deepest gratitude to the Memphis Parks Director Nick Walker and the Memphis Parks Team for their prompt resolution of the maintenance issues and their hard work and dedication to ensuring that our community spaces remain safe and enjoyable for everyone."
The pad is located at Orange Mound Park at 2430 Carnes Road.
