MEMPHIS, Tenn — Osceola Middle School experienced damages to their building after a car crashed into it but are proceeding with classes, according to the Osceola School District superintendent.
Superintendent Dr. Torian Green said that the district is "actively addressing the situation" and "taking necessary measures to restore the affected areas" of the school.
The school recently experienced these damages "due to a car involved in a police chase ending in a car crash," the superintendent said.
"Your support during this time is greatly appreciated as we work together to maintain the school's vibrant community," Green said in a statement. "Thank you for your understanding and cooperation."
