OLIVE BRANCH, Miss — A part of a highway in Olive Branch closed after a semi-trailer spilled chemicals Friday, May 17.
The incident happened on Highway 178 between Hacks Cross Road and Business Center Drive. The Olive Branch Police Department alerted the public just after noon on its Facebook page.
OBPD said the chemical spill was deemed non-hazardous. Responders were still on scene as of 3:30 p.m. cleaning up.
Police said there is no threat to the public.
