MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is dead after getting hit by a vehicle early Monday morning in northeast Memphis.
Memphis Police officers responded to a pedestrian hit call just before 4 a.m. Oct. 28 Raleigh Lagrange Road near Covington Pike.
An ABC24 photographer arrived at the scene and saw one person dead in the road. A police spokesperson later confirmed the death.
The driver had stayed on the scene.
Traffic was blocked between Covington Pike and Chiswood Street while police worked in the area. An investigation is underway.
