MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A woman is dead after Memphis Police said she was hit and killed by a car while she was walking near a street in Parkway Village Wednesday night.
Memphis Police said they responded to the scene of the pedestrian crash around 6:45 p.m. Wednesday at the 4200 block of Mount Hood Street in Parkway Village. There, they found the woman had been hit by a car, and was pronounced dead on the scene.
The driver of the car stayed on the scene, Memphis Police said, and no charges have been filed at this time. This is an ongoing investigation.
