MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A pedestrian was killed in an accident at the intersection of Democrat and Rental Rd.
Memphis Police Department (MPD) said the accident happened at 4:59 a.m. on Thursday, March 16..
The woman who was hit in the accident was transported to Regional One Hospital in critical condition. She later died due to her injuries .
MPD said the driver stayed at the scene.
