MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two people were taken to the hospital after a stairwell collapsed at the Peppertree Apartments in Whitehaven Tuesday evening.
According to the Memphis Fire Department, crews responded to the complex around 6 p.m.
The two people who were injured are expected to be OK, the department said.
The cause of the collapse remains under investigation.
