MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A person is dead after a crash happened Thursday on Interstate 40.
The Memphis Police Department responded to the one-vehicle crash Dec. 28 around 1:30 a.m. near Chelsea Avenue on I-40 West, where they said a vehicle had left the road, going down an embankment and crashing.
The person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said this is an ongoing investigation.
