SHELBY COUNTY, Tenn. — A person is dead after a vehicle caught on fire from a crash Wednesday in east Shelby County.
The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) responded to the accident just before 12:30 a.m. at Larry Anderson Lane and Harrell Road in Arlington, where they said the vehicle crashed into a tree before becoming engulfed in flames.
The Arlington Fire Department found a person dead in the vehicle, authorities said.
SCSO is investigating.
