Mobile music in Memphis. But it’s not your iPod, it’s a truck full of vinyl.
Third Man Records, the label created by the White Stripes front man Jack White, just opened one of the largest record pressing plants in Detroit.
A pop up shop is parked outside of Goner Records in Cooper Young Tuesday.
“We’re traveling around the country on our way down to Bonnaroo,” says Jamison Mosshart. “Brought some exclusives for the good people at Goner Records here and we’re just here to spread awareness about the label and get the people some cool merch.”
From here, the record truck is headed to Bonnaroo in Manchester, Tennessee. The four-day music festival starts Thursday.
