MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A shooting in South Memphis, followed by a crash involving two police squad cars, is under investigation.
According to dispatch, police responded to a shooting near Crump Avenue and Washington, just after 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23.
ABC24 crews on the scene say three cars were involved in a crash nearby on Crump Avenue and Wellington Street. Two of them appeared to be MPD squad cars.
Crime scene investigators have been on-site all night.
It is unclear if anyone involved in the crash was injured.
