MEMPHIS, Tenn. — According to Shelby Farms officials, a power outage closed the Starry Nights event on Christmas Day.
According to MLGW, they are working "as quickly and safely as possible" to restore power, and the cause of the outage is under review.
MLGW said they estimated power would be restored at 8 p.m. However, they were still working on the power as of 8:30 p.m.
Around that time, Shelby Farms Park officials said Starry Nights would be closed but the tickets will be honored tomorrow night in the same time window.
