Transportation officials to hold public meetings on new I-55 bridge

The sessions, happening Nov. 13-14, will educate the public about the proposed America's River Crossing project and serve as a chance for people to ask questions.

MEMPHIS, Tenn — The Tennessee Department of Transportation is inviting citizens to attend public hearings from Nov. 13-14 to discuss the replacement of the I-55 bridge over the Mississippi River.

Attendees will learn about the proposed America's River Crossing project, including the bridge's conceptual layouts. The public will be able to provide feedback. A presentation will be given at 6 p.m. on both days before a question-and-answer session.

You can attend the meeting at one of the following locations and times. 

November 13, 2024, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
