MEMPHIS, Tennessee — According to the Memphis Police Department (MPD), a woman is dead after being hit by a car following a shooting that left a man dead in Raleigh on Wednesday.
Officers said they responded to a shooting on the 4200 block of Ridgestone Dr. at 8:30 p.m.
Police said a man was shot, and in the commotion, a woman was hit by a car.
The suspect(s) in the shooting were not involved in the hit-and-run, and they drove away in a vehicle with a gray rear bumper, police said.
The man was driven to Methodist North, while the woman was taken to Regional One in critical condition. Later, they both died, according to MPD.
