MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) – Several streets are closing ahead of the RiverArtsFest downtown.
RiverArtsFest has been named among the top ten of its kind in the country. Thousands attended the event last year, and the city is preparing for those large crowds once again.
Starting midnight Wednesday, Riverside Drive from Jefferson to Georgia Avenue will be shut down. Also, the east sides of Court, Monroe, and Union Avenues will be closed to traffic, along with the south end of Riverside at Beale.
The closures will run through Sunday night.
