MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A person is dead and a road near Airways Boulevard is blocked after a crash between an 18-wheeler and SUV happened Tuesday morning in the Castalia Heights neighborhood.
Officers with the Memphis Police Department responded to the crash Sept. 17, 2024, just after 6 a.m. near the intersection of Castalia Street and Dunn Avenue. First responders pronounced one person dead at the scene.
Memphis Police said all lanes of traffic are closed in the area. An investigation is underway.
