MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A shooting in Egypt left a 16-year-old boy injured, according to MPD.
Officers responded to a shooting call at 3960 New Covington Pike just after 2:50 p.m.
MPD says officers located an injured 16-year-old boy who was driven to Methodist North by a car.
The boy is noncritical in stable condition.
Officers don't know where the shooting took place and are checking area hospitals for a possible second victim.
No one has been detained, according to MPD.
This is an ongoing investigation.
