MEMPHIS, Tenn. — According to MPD, a 15-year-old boy is dead after a Friday night shooting in South Memphis.
Officers responded to a shooting in the 1400 blk of South Third Street, on July 5, at 10:30p.m.
The victim was located and transported to Le Bonheur in critical condition. He was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
In an update, MPD says a 17-year-old suspect was taken into custody and has been charged with First Degree Murder and Attempted First Degree Murder.
