MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A car crash in Southeast Memphis leaves one dead, the Memphis Police Department (MPD) says.
Officers responded to a two car crash at E. Shelby Dr. and Damascus Rd just before 8:30 a.m.
According to MPD, a person was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
MPD has issued a traffic alert as all eastbound and westbound lanes are shut down until further notice.
This is an on-going investigation.
