The birth of baby is a beautiful experience. And thanks to the Saint Francis Hospital, that experience has been enhanced.
The hospital unveiled their new Family Birthing Center Wednesday afternoon with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a media tour.
The new facility pairs traditional mother and baby rooms with adjacent suites for dad and the rest of the family. The goal is to make this special time more comfortable for families.
“We wanna make sure that our patients have all the amenities that they need, and that they feel special and pampered because they are,” says Nancy Smith. “They’re having a baby, and it’s such a special time in their life. We just want to make sure that we are here to help them through that and have the best amenities for them that we can have.”
These spacious suites feature sleeping accommodations for dad and the family, a private restroom, and a television.
When mommies want alone time with their new additions, these suites allow for enhanced privacy.
