Two suspects are facing charges after another delivery truck burglary took place in the Mid-South, the Collierville Police Department announced Wednesday morning.
Jayla Victor, 20, and Aliyah Patterson, 28, were charged with auto theft. Their bonds have been set at $99,000.
Memphis Police said an Amazon truck had been taken in Collierville in a neighborhood just west of Collierville High School. This area is 20 miles away from Memphis.
Collierville Police said two men got out of a U-Haul and into the Amazon van while the driver of the truck was delivering a package on Tender Oaks Lane East.
West Memphis officers found the truck just north of Memphis International Airport.
After collecting evidence, Collierville Police detectives were able to identify the suspects involved in the theft.
On Sunday, Jan. 7, someone gave the Somerville Police Department a tip, leading to the location of the suspects and U-Haul.
