MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A 15-year-old has been charged with possessing multiple stolen firearms after authorities were following up on a bank robbery, according to Dyersburg police.
The Dyersburg Police Department (DPD) said that they recovered a stolen AR-15 style pistol, SKS and an AK-47 that were reportedly stolen from someone on Nov. 29 in Dyersburg.
Large capacity magazines with over 60 rounds of ammunition were also reportedly seized by police.
The teenager — charged on Dec. 2 — was ordered to be held in detention by Dyer County Juvenile Court pending a future detention hearing, according to DPD.
