MEMPHIS, Tenn. — As the start of winter season is just days away, organizations are making sure students kindergarten through fifth grade are dressed warm.
The Tennessee Valley Authority and the Nation Enrichment Project hosted a holiday drive-thru coat giveaway for the kids at the NEP East Memphis location on Saturday afternoon.
Volunteers handed out more than 600 brand new coats right off the racks of Macy's.
