MEMPHIS, Tenn — Memphis Police are urging the public to avoid the area of Vollintine and North Watkins after they said a man was struck by a vehicle.
They said officers responded shortly after 4 p.m. to the crash when a man on a bicycle was hit by a car.
The man that was hit was transported to Regional One in critical condition, according to MPD. The driver did remain on the scene, according to MPD.
Delays are expected in the area, and police urge the public to travel on alternate routes.
