Here are the areas across the Mid-South facing boil water notices, water conservation alerts

These notices were issued due to the deep freeze across the area.

WALLS, Miss — Some Mid-South cities are facing boil water notices as the deep freeze continues across the area.

Memphis, Tennessee

Memphis Light, Gas and Water (MLGW) has issued a Boil Water Advisory for all customers in its service area. People should boil water at least one minute before consuming.

MLGW said a water distribution would begin at 2 p.m. Friday until supplies run out at Shelby County Fire stations 62 (4647 Forrest Hill Irene) and 67 (944 Northaven Dr.)

They are also telling customers to conserve water and avoid non-essential water use until further notice, as burst pipes are causing low water pressure. Those who have leaks or broken water pipes should turn off their water or call 544-6549 for help from MLGW.
