MEMPHIS, Tenn. — MLGW said repairs to a water main break along part of Poplar Ave. are expected to last at least two weeks.
On Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2023, MLGW crews were sent out to repair the break on Poplar Ave. between Galloway Dr. and Red Bird Ln. Our crew saw standing water on Poplar Ave due as crews worked to repair the damage and control the flooding.
Two eastbound lanes and one westbound land have opened to traffic. MLGW said drivers in the area should seek alternate routes.
MLGW said they don't yet know what caused the break.
