Water back on for part of Olive Branch after repairs to water tower

The city said the water needed to be turned off in the Bridgetown area as repairs were made.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Some people in Olive Branch, Mississippi, found their water shut off at times on Monday, Jan. 29, 2024.

Olive Branch officials said public works water crews had to make repairs to the water tower at Bridgetown. The water to the Bridgetown area was shut off as the repairs are made.

By Monday afternoon, the city said the repairs were completed and water service restored to the area.

City officials said a scheduled water service interruption will take place on Jan. 31 from 9 p.m. to midnight for pressure testing along Goodman Rd. and Draft Rd. to Whippoorwill Dr. They said water service will return to normal after testing concludes.

Attention: Public Works Water Crews are on site to repair the water tower at Bridgetown. They will be shutting off water...
