MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man robbed a Wells Fargo bank in Memphis on Jan. 5, according to the Memphis Police Department (MPD).
Officers said this took place shortly before 5 p.m. as a man who was alone entered the bank at 1365 North Germantown Parkway. Police said the suspect kept his hand in his jacket and implied that he had a handgun.
He then demanded money from the tellers and threatened to shoot them if they didn't do what he said, according to MPD. He left the scene with a large sum of money, according to MPD.
This suspect was in his mid to late 30s, according to MPD. He had an average build, a dreadlock hairstyle, a FedEx winter jacket that was dark blue, black pants, black tennis shoes with red soles, tinted safety-style glasses, black gloves and a blue surgical mask, according to MPD.
No arrest has been made by MPD in connection to this incident as of press time. MPD said this is an ongoing investigation.
