For those worried that their children might lose some of the skills they need in school during winter break, the Memphis-Shelby County school system is offering specialized recourses.
Packets provided by Memphis-Shelby County Schools have been compiled to help students in the area "stay ready." The goal for these resources is to be helpful for keeping children engaged in learning activities during their time away from school.
"We encourage you to pay extra-close attention to the skills that are being refined through these lessons," MSCS' website link to these recourses reads.
Packets are available for third and fourth graders. A full "parent guide" for K-12th grade is also available from MSCS.
