CINCINNATI — To show support and solidarity with Ukraine, Kroger has announced it has pulled Russian-produced vodka from its shelves.

In a tweet posted on Tuesday, the grocery store chain said the products were removed over the weekend. Emergency food assistance is also being sent to refugees through a grant from The Kroger Co. Zero Hunger | Zero Waste Foundation to the UN World Food Programme's Ukraine Emergency Fund.

Kroger will match all gifts made by associates and customers up to $250,000.
