MEMPHIS, Tenn. — There are a few weeks left until the state and federal 2024 General Election on Nov. 5.
Early voting in Tennessee started Oct. 16. and runs until Oct. 31. Those wishing to vote absentee in either must request an absentee ballot by Oct. 29.
A list of early voting locations in Shelby County can be viewed HERE. Most polling sites will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on week days and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays. No voting locations are open on Sundays.
Voters can expect to make selections for the United States President, Senate and House of Representatives.
Memphians will vote on charter amendment ordinances. Specifically, three gun safety measures that fought their way to the ballot.
