MEMPHIS, Tenn. — AARP Tennessee is helping Bluff City voters pop out to the polls this Election Day!
To help make sure all voices are heard in the 2024 General Election, AARP Tennessee has partnered with the Memphis Area Transportation Authority (MATA) to provide free rides on all city bus routes this Nov. 5 on election day.
“We are excited to partner with MATA to help ensure registered voters have a viable transportation option for voting in-person on Election Day,” said AARP Tennessee State Director Mia McNeil. “Voters 50+ represent the largest voting bloc in our state and this sponsorship removes transportation barriers for those who no longer drive or have mobility issues.”
The sponsorship will allow for free rides on all city bus routes on November 5. Find out more about available transit options at here.
