After months of intense campaigning by Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump, Election Day has arrived. The final votes are being cast and now the waiting begins for officials to announce election results in the 2024 presidential race.
Millions of Americans had already cast their ballots early before polls opened on Tuesday for the last day of voting.
Political analysts say the election is a true toss up with seven battleground states deciding the outcome. Those states are Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin
Who is winning the 2024 election?
In order to win the U.S. presidential election, a candidate must win in enough states to have 270 Electoral College votes.
