MISSISSIPPI, USA — We are a day away from the 2024 General Election on Nov. 5 when Mississippi voters will be heading to the polls. Here is some important polling information for Mississippians.
Voting polls open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day.
DeSoto County residents can find their polling locations HERE. Once you click on the link, you can type in your address and receive your polling information along with a sample ballot. Visit DeSoto County's election page for additional information.
Tunica County residents can view their sample ballot on the county's website HERE, and precinct information is available on the website as well.
For all Mississippians, polling location information is provided and updated by local election officials, according to the Mississippi Secretary of State's website. Voters can confirm their polling place with a county circuit clerk.

Mississippians voters must have one of the forms of acceptable photo ID listed below:
- A valid Mississippi driver’s license (includes Mississippi Mobile ID, issued by Department of Public Safety)
- A valid identification card issued by any branch, department, agency, or entity of the State of Mississippi
- A valid United States passport
- A valid employee photo identification card issued by any branch, department, agency, or entity of the United States government, the State of Mississippi, or any county, municipality, board, authority or other entity of this state
- A current and valid Mississippi license to carry a pistol or revolver, containing a photo of the voter
- A valid tribal photo identification card
- A valid United States military photo identification card
- A current and valid student photo identification card, issued by any accredited college, university or community or junior college in the State of Mississippi
- An official Mississippi Voter Identification Card
- Any current and valid photo ID not listed above issued by any branch, department, agency, or entity of the United States government or any other state government.
