MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office said two persons of interest are in custody Friday after a baby was found apparently abandoned at an apartment complex Wednesday.
Investigators said the baby was found about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2024, by three people walking through the complex on Cayce Rd. They said the baby had been wrapped in several blankets in a seat.
The child was taken to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis. The sheriff's office said the baby is in good condition and expected to be okay.
