MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) – Classes will not be held Tuesday at 8 Shelby County Schools.
Due to continued power outages after Monday’s storms, SCS has closed Wooddale High School, Hawkins Mill Elementary and Westside Elementary, Balmoral Ridgeway Elementary, Oakhaven Elementary, Oakhaven Middle School, Oakhaven High School and Newcomer International Center (located inside Wooddale HS).
There are still more than 10,000 MLGW customers without power.
