ATLANTA — Charges were announced Wednesday for two Atlanta officers involved in the killing of Rayshard Brooks.
During the announcement, District Attorney Paul Howard said three witnesses to Brooks' death are from the Memphis area.
Howard says the witnesses are having a difficult time processing what they saw.
The prosecutor also said he already apologized to one of the witnesses whose car was hit with gunfire, saying the man was only in Atlanta on a brief trip.
