MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) – Memphis police say a woman was killed when she crashed going the wrong way on I-55 early Monday morning.
The wreck happened on I-55 south of Winchester just before 1 a.m.
According to MPD, Latoya Brown, 39, was driving north in the southbound lane of I-55. The crash happened when she hit a concrete barrier as she was trying to cross back over into the northbound lane through the separation in the barrier.
