MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The American Athletic Conference has announced the schedule for the 2024-25 The University of Memphis (U of M) men’s basketball season.
The Tigers will begin their conference season on the road on Jan. 2 against Florida Atlantic, before returning to the Bluff City to go face to face with North Texas at FedExForum on Jan. 5.
The schedule will include six weekend home games, including a final face-off with reigning AAC regular season champion, South Florida on Mar. 7. Every team in the conference will play 18 games.
The Tigers will be headed by coach Penny Hardaway in his seventh year as the Tigers’ head coach. Senior forward Nicholas Jourdain and senior guard Noah Stansbury are currently the only returning players from last season's team. The 2023-24 team went 22-10 overall and ranked as high as No. 10 in the Associated Press poll in January.
