Memphis center, Jordan Brown is back with the Memphis Men's Basketball program after missing the past 11 games.

Memphis Men's Basketball posted a collage of players on X, walking to a plane bound for New Orleans Saturday afternoon.

One of those photos pictured Brown kitted out in Memphis gear and placing his finger to his lips as to say, 'keep quiet, I am back.'

Brown was also seen practicing with the team at Tulane, Saturday evening.

The photo is the first we have seen of Brown since he played in a 80-77 loss at Ole Miss on December 2nd.

In the weeks following the Ole Miss game, Penny Hardaway continually said Brown has an illness and will remain out.

The 2022-23 Lou Henson award winner remained out and was not on the bench for the next 11 games.

After Memphis' loss to the University of South Florida this past Sunday, Hardaway gave another statement regarding Brown.

"JB is still out right now, that is where it stands," Hardaway stated.

Days after Hardaway made those comments, Brown boarded a plane to New Orleans with the head coach and the rest of the team.

Brown's return could not have come at a more perfect time for Memphis.

They need a player to strengthen the frontcourt play on both offense and defense.

Memphis ranks 136th in the nation with 33.5 rebounds per game and 146 in offensive rebounds per game with 9.3.

Brown struggled through the first part of the season, averaging 13 minutes with 6.1 points and 3.9 rebounds.

Despite those low number, Brown has proven that he has the potential to be great.

Last season at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Brown made 33 starts and led his team in points per game(19.3) and rebounds per game (8.6).

The center was one of only three players in Division I to average at least 19.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 1.0 block per game while shooting 57.0 percent from the field (Zach Edey, Purdue & Trayce Jackson-Davis, Indiana)

Hardaway believes Brown can help the Tigers reach their true potential.

"He has to reach an elite level for us to make it to that next level," Hardaway said, in early December. "He's got to be a 16 and 10, 15 and eight guy. Because he can score in the post and we need him to score."

We could see Brown play as early as today against Tulane in New Orleans.

Tip-off is set for 12 P.M. CT on ESPN2.
