A Lacrosse Legacy: Memphis University School wins 15th State Title

The MUS Owls win their 15th State Lacrosse Title after a 12-6 win over McCallie on Saturday.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis University School have dominated Lacrosse in the state of Tennessee for decades. That legacy continued on Saturday when the MUS Owls were crowned State Champions after a 12-6 win over McCallie. 

Saturday's victory marks the programs 15th State Lacrosse Title. 

Thomas Davis opened the scoring with 9:57 left in the 1Q, it was one of two goals from Thomas on the day. From then until the final whistle the Owls would never trail. 

Junior Tucker Davis shined in the Owls win, scoring four of the Owls 12 goals. Sims Miller, Parks Applegate, Hays Prather, Grayson Pollan and Knox Brown (2) all scored goals too.
