Here's when the 66th annual AutoZone Liberty Bowl will kickoff in Memphis

The AutoZone Liberty Bowl was founded in 1959, making it the seventh oldest bowl game in America.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The date and kickoff time have been set for the 66th annual AutoZone Liberty Bowl in Memphis.

Teams will hit the gridiron at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium at 6 p.m. CT on Friday, Dec. 27, 2024m in the game set to be televised on ESPN.

“Playing in primetime is a terrific opportunity for the AutoZone Liberty Bowl to showcase two outstanding universities from the SEC and Big 12, the Memphis community and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to a large primetime national audience,” said Steve Ehrhart, Executive Director of the AutoZone Liberty Bowl, in a news release.

The AutoZone Liberty Bowl was founded in 1959, making it the seventh oldest bowl game in America. Over the years, 64 different universities have taken part in the big game.
