MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis 901 FC is set to transfer their franchise rights to Santa Barbara.
Tom Bogert with GiveMeSport.com was the first to report the story.
According to Bogert, the transfer is effective immediately, and Memphis will not continue playing next season.
An official announcement is expected on Wednesday.
Memphis will transfer their rights due to not being able to find a viable stadium solution, Bogert said in the report.
ABC24 has reached out to numerous sources associated with 901 FC, but have not received a response.
When we reached out to USL, they told us, "No comment."
