MEMPHIS, Tennessee — Things have gone from bad to worse in ‘the bubble’ for the Memphis Grizzlies.
Tuesday the NBA team announced that star forward Jaren Jackson Jr will miss the rest of the season after he suffered an injury in Monday’s loss to the New Orleans Pelicans in Orlando.
The team is 0-3 since the league resumed play that was interrupted by the coronavirus pandemic.
“His loss is going to be acutely felt because he was one of the best scoring options the Grizzlies have. Scoring has been the biggest issue for the Grizzlies to this point. So you hate to see it, and the Grizzlies will have to soldier on as best they can,” said Grizzlies play-by-play announcer Pete Pranica.
