LAS VEGAS — The Memphis Grizzlies fell just short of the Las Vegas Summer League championship. The Miami Heat beat the Grizzlies 120 to 118 in overtime.

Kel'el Ware had a 21 points and 10 rebound double-double to lead the Heat. Josh Christopher added 24 points and Alondes Williams scored 21 points and 6 assists and 5 rebounds.

A trio of Grizzlies had strong performances.  GG Jackson had 28 points and 9 rebounds. Scotty Pippen Jr. scored 29 points and 11 assists. Jake LaRavia led all scorers with 32 points.

Down 113 to 110 with 16 seconds left in the fourth quarter, Pippen Jr grabbed an offensive rebound off a missed three from Jackson. Pippen found Jackson again who nailed the second attempt to tie the game at 113 and force overtime.

The Heat outscored Memphis 7 to 5 in the overtime period to reach the target score of 120. Pelle Larrson scored the game winning basket over Pippen Jr. It's the first Summer League title in Heat franchise history.

The Grizzlies went 5-1 in Las Vegas Summer League. Jackson and Pippen Jr were both named All Summer League First Team.
