MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis Grizzlies have signed guard David Johnson, the team announced Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2024.
Terms of the deal were not released, per team policy.
23-year-old Johnson appeared in 24 showcase and regular season games last season with the Grizzlies NBA G League affiliate the Memphis Hustle. With nine starts, he averaged 17 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1 steal in 26.6 minutes.
Johnson played two regular season games for the Toronto Raptors in the 2021-22 season, and has appeared in 97 G League games over three seasons with the Hustle and Raptors.
He was selected by Toronto 47th overall in the 2021 NBA Draft.
