MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis Grizzlies announced Friday that wing Vince Williams Jr. would be out for about four weeks due to an injury.
Grizzlies officials said Williams suffered from pain in his left shin during recent training, and imaging revealed a “stress reaction” in his upper tibia.
Williams will be reevaluated in about four weeks. The Grizzlies said he is expected to make a full recovery.
Williams played 52 games in the 2023-24 season, averaging 27.6 minutes with 10 points per game and 5.6 rebounds per game.
